Oils which can improve your life

Essential oils and natural oils are something which people all over the world have been using for thousands of years to cure ailments and give us many different benefits to the body and the soul. Although over the years science has certainly changed and adapted to its environment by finding new ways to cure illness, there are still many essential oils which can help us lead healthy lives. Here are just a few of the oils you should invest in which can make a positive difference to your life.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has blown up in the last five years and it seems as though every fitness and wellness guru is using coconut oil for just about everything in their lives. The benefits of coconut oil are many and they can include keeping your hair and skin healthy, helping digestion, keeping our cells young and making us feel more energised. Coconut oil is certainly something you should add into your pantry and even bathroom cupboard this year!

Lavender oil

Lavender is a plant and a scent which we often associate with the older women in our lives and this floral scent is one which is used the world over and touted for its beauty. Lavender oil in particular is a wonderful substance which can be used to help us sleep at night by relaxing us.  It can be used to relieve headaches and can generally have a wonderful effect on our health and mental wellbeing. Having a lavender diffuser in your bedroom can be the key to a great night’s sleep and it is well worth trying.

CBD oil

As we have heard over the last few years, cannabis has a lot of benefits which stray away from the traditional recreational use which is popular amongst many. CBD Oil from Hemp Living, for example, can be used medicinally to treat cancer and help alleviate symptoms of Parkinson’s disease in many different people. It can be a great addition to your medicine cabinet and can be a miracle for those who suffer with these illnesses.  It’s also often an effective pain relief.  There are different concentrations and different strengths are needed for different people.

Peppermint oil

Peppermint and spearmint are some of the most popular herbs in the world and they are used for savoury dishes, desserts and to freshen our breath each morning and night. Peppermint oil also has a surprising use which will have you running to the store right away to test the theory; when you place peppermint oil in the corner of your rooms, you can benefit from scaring away pests such as mice, spiders and wasps. These creatures hate the strong odour of peppermint and will stay away from it at all costs!

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is one of the most popular essential oils of all and it is often used for people who want to wake up in the morning with a cool tingle and a fresh face and body. The most common use of tea tree oil, which is incredibly effective, is as an acne treatment. By mixing a few drops of tea tree oil with a carrier oil, like almond oil, you can apply to blemishes and kill them off quickly without causing scarring.

There are so many oils available and their uses for beauty, food and medicine are incredible.  I definitely prefer to live a more natural life and have used many of these oils in cooking, scenting my home, beauty products and more.
